What Do The Model Numbers Mean?
The model number can help you understand the bale size and function of each Harmony baler.
Harmony baler model numbers refer to the width of the loading door and resulting bales.
The prefixes M, H, S, and T stand for model, horizontal, seven inch cylinder, and ten inch cylinder, respectively.
The suffix STD means Standard, HD and XD mean Heavy Duty, BC is Button Control, CB refers to Cardboard, MD stands for Manual Door, and RC indicates a Rear Chute system.
What Is Each Model Designed For?

M30STD – This small recycling machine is affordable and creates bales that are 24″ x 30″ x up to 25″. The M30STD fits easily into small spaces and is ideal for situations where there is not a large quantity of recycling commodities produced daily.
M30HD – This back room baler makes bales that are 24″ x 30″x up to 30″. Its heavy duty cylinder allows it to recycle a larger variety of recyclables like plastic, shrink wrap, steel and aluminum cans, Styrofoam, and paper in the same way as larger balers.
M42BC – Is a stockroom baler on casters that can easily fit through a normal doorway. The M42BC is typically used to make 22″ x 42″ x up to 30″ up to 180 lb bales of corrugated cardboard.
M42HD – The powerful hydraulic cylinder of this baler allows it to make more dense bales. The M42HD is designed for tough products like shrink wrap creating 22″ x 42″ x up to 30″, up to 300 lb bales of corrugated cardboard.
M48HD – The M48HD is the perfect mid-sized baler that creates 44” x 48” x up to 30” bales of up to 750 lbs of cardboard.
M60MD – The 60″ baler used in locations that have height restrictions. This low profile baler can make cardboard bales up to 700-800 lbs.
M60CB – This 60″ vertical cardboard baler is designed to make mill-sized bales of cardboard. Used in many retail and grocery settings, this efficient baler makes cardboard bales that weigh up to 1000 lbs.
M60STD – The gold standard in 60″ balers. This durable machine can be used as a newspaper baler, OCC baler, PET baler, plastic baler, paper baler, and also for cardboard.
M72HD – This large 72″ heavy duty baler has an incredibly fast 29 second cycle time and large 40 x 72 x 40 inch charge chamber that allows it to bale over 2,000 lbs. of cardboard per hour. Often used as a retail baler or distribution baler, its large capacity increases efficiency.
S60XD/S60XDRC – The large 7″ cylinder and the extra-long 64″ stroke of this vertical heavy-duty multi-material baler provides the power to make the highest density bales available in its class. This power also enables the user to bale corrugated containers, newspaper, aluminum cans, and more!
T60XD/T60XDRC – A high density baler with a 10″ cylinder. This machine is often utilized as a recycling center baler. It is often used to bale used clothes and textiles.
H60/H60XL Horizontal Baler – These large horizontal balers work well as scrap recycling machines. These high capacity balers handle aluminum, paper, cardboard, plastic, PET, and non-ferrous metals.
BCB2003 ExtractPack – The smallest of our beverage extraction balers, this aluminum can baler is loaded manually. The BCB perforates aluminum cans or plastic bottles and drains the residual liquid into a sealed reservoir. The resulting bale is 4″ X 16″ X up to 24″.
PERF-SSHB GEN1 – This innovative machine is our intermediate size beverage extraction machine that creates 30” x 18.5” x 30” bales of aluminum or PET.
PERF-SSHB GEN2 – The GEN2 is the largest of our stainless steel extraction balers used in large bottle facilities, breweries, and distribution centers. It creates mill-sized bales and is proven to save businesses over 1.5 FTE’s annually!
