Essential Waste & Recycling Manufacturer
It was just year ago that we awaited a new decade with excited anticipation. As we turned the page from 2019 to 2020, no one could have imagined the challenges the coming year had in store for all of us. From decimating wildfires and storms, to political polarization, social injustices, and a-once-in-a-century global pandemic, 2020 was relentless. But, through all of these events, Harmony Enterprises, Inc. has been able to successfully stay open as an essential waste & recycling equipment manufacturer and provide our wide range of waste handling and recycling solutions to businesses in need.
As we look back on the year with gratitude, we realize that none of our success would be possible without the incredible work by our dedicated employees, partnerships with our vendors and service technicians, and the support from our community. To all of them, we say “Thank You.”
Highlights From This Year Like No Other
Even with the unforeseen problems during the year, we were able to create many highlights to share with our customers, vendors, and online audience.
Some of these included regular posts about industry trends, like Cardboard’s Big Comeback, helpful information about Recycling Grants & Assistance Programs, or articles about Vertical Balers, Commercial Compactors, and Distribution Center Balers.
We also cast the spotlight on other important events like these:
HM-60 Video Released
Early in the year, Harmony teamed up with our friends at Flying Buttress Media and released its latest product video, the HM-60 Closed End Horizontal Baler Video.
This fresh video includes highlights of the baler, including:

New Lease Program At Harmony Enterprises, Inc.
In February, Harmony offered an new and enhanced lease program on our balers and compactors. This innovative financing solution provides businesses with an additional, budget-friendly way to get the equipment they need without having to worry about up-front capital expenditure costs. There are also many tax incentives with leasing through Harmony. Read all about how a lease program can help you here.
ExtractPack Pro Makes Global Headlines
When Harmony reached out to beverage industry professionals to better understand their liquid extraction needs, we knew that our product development would be successful. What we didn’t know is how quickly our ExtracPack Pro would be embraced worldwide. Our conveyor fed vertical liquid extraction baler made global headlines when it was featured in both the U.S. based publication of Recycling Today as well as the UK based Can Maker. Both respected industry journals featured our newest liquid extraction baler as a product spotlight for its ability to combine baling speed with high volumes of product while requiring limited operational space.
Harmony Enterprises and Harmony Kids Remain Open
The onset of the coronavirus pandemic forced many long term shut downs of businesses. Harmony Enterprises and Harmony Kids Learning Center have been able to remain open, providing essential products and services throughout this trying time. This was due in part to our committed staff, a thorough Covid Preparedness Plan, the ability to offer remote work for those who can, increased social distancing, mask mandates, and sanitization measures. Read more about how both businesses are essential to our customers and community.
Product Enhancement And Development
Throughout 2020, Harmony Enterprises continued to demonstrate its innovation by re-thinking how its existing products can better serve a post-COVID marketplace. Our SmartPack Automatic Compactor and automatic baler and compactor solutions combined with our Iot solutions offer exceptional safety and “no touch” value in a virus-resilient world. Harmony Enterprises went one step further by creating an automatic, no touch hand sanitizer station that is ideal for use with our waste handling and recycling equipment, or as a stand-alone option.
Our Engineering department has been busy utilizing their design and development process to create even more exciting products set to be released in 2021!

Staying Engaged With Community
With all of the changes brought about in 2020, many of us have had to learn new ways to communicate with each other, business partners, and to engage our broader community.
Harmony was excited to be able to offer virtual tours during Manufacturing Week in October, and to continue to do these and online Q&A sessions with MN schools on the FutureForward portal.
In addition to that, we stayed engaged with our community by starting an Adopt-A-Highway project and by supporting the annual tree lighting in Harmony’s Selvig Park.

Harmony Enterprises is especially proud to have been named Family Owned Manufacturer of The Year by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal. Special Shout Outs – Harmony Europe/Service Techs
In addition to the positive events of our year, we also recognize the tremendous success achieved by our Harmony Europe team in an area that experienced strict regulations and shut-downs due to the pandemic. Through it all, they were able to provide quality service repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance all over France and surrounding countries.
Harmony would also like to give thanks to all our service tech partners that went the extra mile to make repairs to down compactors and balers to keep some of the other essential work places open. We appreciate all that you do to allow Harmony to be a leading nationwide service provider.
