Insider Bat is a family owned company based in Ohio. The business began as way to help their 7-year-old son’s coach pitch team understand proper hitting mechanics. (the problem!) They began to explore different ways the young hitters were approaching the hand path and whether they were executing the concept of staying “inside the ball”. They definitely were not. (identified the root cause!) From that The Insider Bat™ was born! (the right solution!)

With customer testimonials from a range of baseball and softball professionals and coaches, Insider Bat was able to go into full production in 2010.
The Right Solution

With growth comes a multitude of additional business challenges that many small business are not ready for. One of those is how to handle accumulating cardboard, plastic, and other packing materials and the associated costs related to their disposal. That’s where Harmony was able to shine as the solutions provider for recycling. Using our Proven Sales Process, our staff was able to work with Insider Bat to listen to their problem, identify the root cause, and provide a specific solution for their small business.
In their case, our M60STD Vertical 60″ Baler was the perfect fit, as it makes mill-sized bales of many of the products used in commercial packing, including OCC, plastics, shrink wrap, and paper. It also handles other materials like aluminum, PET, HDPE, and non-ferrous metals. The M60STD has a durable 6″ hydraulic cylinder and long-lasting 10HP motor that allows this all-purpose baler make dense bales. With a fast 52 second cycle time, your employees can safely manage your recycling operation efficiently, leaving the more time for other tasks.
Not only did the new baler help them eliminate potentially hazardous work conditions with stacks of products, it helped to reduce his hauling expenses, while creating an additional source of recycling revenue.
