How Do Liquid Extraction Balers Work?

Each model is loaded differently.  The ExtractPack is loaded manually from the front of the baler, while the ExtractPack Pro can be manually loaded from the front, or conveyor fed from the rear of the machine.

Our ExtractPack Pro is the only baler of its kind on the market, featuring conveyor fed automatic loading and automatic cycling, all in a vertical, space-saving design!

The ExtractPack Plus and ExtractPack Max are typically fed by placing a tote into a tipper that automatically feeds the material into the baling chamber. Sometimes, additional hopper or conveyor systems are used as well. Both can implement a pendant control system so that forklift operators do not have to get off their machine to operate the baler.

Once the product has been fed into the chamber, each has built-in technology to puncture or perforate the container and drain the liquid into a reservoir to be removed though an approved drain or pump system.

The residual container product is then pressed into a dense bale to be tied and then automatically ejected by a hydraulic eject system. The bales are easy to move, stack, store, and transport for recycling.

Harmony’s liquid extraction balers are safe and easy to use, and are made with quality, long lasting U.S. stainless steel to help reduce corrosion. They can be manually washed down after use or include internal spray down systems to remove any access product from the baler.
