Harmony Enterprises, Inc. would like to extend a huge congratulations to First Southeast Bank and Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA) for winning a $15,000 Strong Communities Award! They are being recognized for their efforts toward helping Harmony Enterprises Inc. expand their business and create new jobs. Harmony Enterprises, Inc. is a major employer in Harmony, Minnesota, a community of just 1007.
Winning the Strong Communities Award
Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines member, First Southeast Bank, was selected as a finalist for the 2015 FLHB Strong Communities Award in September. In October, they were selected as the winner of the rural category, beating out three other competitors for the $15,000 award. First Southeast Bank and CEDA are being awarded for their efforts to help Harmony Enterprise Inc. with a financial package that not only saved 59 full-time jobs, but added 14 new positions. “Because of the support of First Southeast Bank, CEDA and the City of Harmony, Harmony Enterprises, Inc. was able to expand our facilities to allow us to continue to grow our business in Harmony”, stated Steven Cremer, President and CEO of Harmony Enterprises, Inc.
