Harmony Tours For Students & Public
As part of Minnesota Manufacturing Month, Harmony Enterprises will be opening its doors for tours of our production facility to both students from local high schools and the general public on Thursday, October 26th, 2023.
Student Tours In The Morning
Harmony Enterprises will be partnering with the Bluff Country Collaborative and Harmony Kids Learning Center to offer two morning tours to students from area high schools. These Harmony tours will highlight the many different career opportunities available in the manufacturing and child care industries. It will provide the students with first-hand career exploration opportunities, allowing them to ask questions from professionals in their chosen areas of interest.
At Harmony Enterprises, students will learn about our innovative recycling balers and trash compactors and all of the different vocations needed to make our company successful. They will be exposed to experiences with sales, marketing, accounting, customer service, technical support, human resources, purchasing, engineering, scheduling, programming, fabrication, welding, clean-up, paint, panel build, assembly, shipping/receiving, parts & inventory, field service technician, custodial, and maintenance.
At Harmony Kids, the students will explore the careers of director, teacher, teacher assistant, teacher aide, kitchen staff, and custodian. They will also get to see the modern facilities that help to promote cognitive, kinesthetic, and affective learning by the children.
Community Tours In The Afternoon
At Harmony Enterprises, we love sharing our story! We are always amazed at how many community members in our area aren’t familiar with our company history, products, or what we do. These afternoon tours at 1:30 and 3:00 PM will allow us to show how our work helps to not only improve our career, community, culture, and company, but also helps to make the earth a more sustainable place for generations to come!
Opening our doors to the public also allows us to show off our workplace and culture. We are hopeful that any community members interested in a manufacturing career will visit us that afternoon.
Harmony Enterprises is currently hiring for experienced welders, field service technicians, and haulers/installers. Interested candidates are encouraged to participate in these tours, fill out an application in person, and possibly interview that same day. Harmony offers competitive wages, industry leading benefits like a matching 401K, flexible scheduling, and child care benefits with HKLC.
Harmony Kids Learning Center will not be taking part in the afternoon tours to the community, but would love to talk with you if you are interested in a career in child care. They are hiring for teachers, teacher assistants, and teacher aides. You can apply online or call them at (507) 886-4552 for more information.
If you or someone you know would like to learn more about manufacturing in your area, about Harmony Enterprises, Harmony Kids Learning Center, or is interested in a new career, we hope to see you on the 26th!
