A Lot To Be Thankful For
Thanksgiving is a holiday to celebrate gratitude and to reflect on the many blessings offered throughout the year. This Thanksgiving, we have a lot to be thankful for. Our vendors, customers, employees, and community have all provided us with countless blessings over the year.
Here are just a few things Harmony is thankful for this year!
Thankful For Our Vendors
Harmony is thankful for our vendors and suppliers. We are proud to utilize steel manufactured in the USA, as well as having over 99% of our suppliers being US selected suppliers. This year, we featured a story about Harmony’s Vendor Appreciation With Werner Electric. Harmony has worked with Werner for decades to create electrical kits for our products, simplifying our process, bringing value to our customers, and providing innovation for the future.
This past September, Harmony was the featured OEM at the Werner Electric Digital Transformation Conference, in which we shared with other manufacturers on how we use technology in our connected enterprise.
Grateful For New Products
Harmony is thankful for our ability to provide the most innovative new solutions for our industry. Thanks to the efforts by our full team of professionals, Harmony was able to roll out two new lines of products for our customers this year.
In late summer, Harmony announced it’s new line of Harmony Horizontal Balers. This includes our HM-60 Closed Door Manual Tie Baler, the HM-A160 Open End Auto Tie Baler, and the HM-2R185 Two Ram Baler. Each of these large capacity balers are ideal for recycling and distribution centers and provide additional benefits that come standard with each machine.
Harmony has also been extremely proud to release our latest liquid extraction baler, the ExtractPack Pro. This intermediate automatic vertical liquid extraction baler has been met with rave reviews from bottlers, brewers, and contract packagers. It has filled a need gap in the beverage industry for a high volume, efficient, cost-effective alternative automatic mill-sized baler.
Recycling Today, Waste Today, and Can Maker magazines are just a few of the leading industry publications that have covered the release of this amazing new machine!
Thankful For Our People
Harmony is thankful for our employees. Harmony employees embody our Core Values and are dedicated to providing our customers and community with the highest level of quality care possible.
This year, we have been posting weekly features about our staff called, “Get To Know Harmony”. Each segment showcases a different employee from all departments in our company. Its our chance to share some of our personal side with you and to remind you that when you work with Harmony, you are guaranteed the true partnership approach that comes with working with a Midwest manufacturer.
We have also been thankful for our employee’s participation in several events. Harmony employees teamed up in many ways to support a local family whose daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia, as well as our own Harmony Fitness Challenge, Regional Relay For Life, and our local fire department and Ambulance Services.
Blessed For Our Community
Harmony is thankful for our community. Harmony’s Core Purpose is Career, Community, & Culture. We were heavily involved with our community this year, especially our local Harmony Kids Learning Center. We shared stories on how the high school art department collaborated with the learning center in an Innovative Community Spirit.
We also shared how our Engineering, Production, and Sales staff teamed up to celebrate STEAM Week by creating working metallophones for students at the HKLC. These metal xylophones are now used in creative ways in classrooms at the learning center.
Harmony wasn’t always the ones doing the giving, though. Recently, several businesses in our community supported our product development of a new recycling baler. For several weeks, they donated cardboard boxes that were not broken down, allowing us to properly test a new product for a potential national account. The quantity of cardboard was staggering, totaling over 120 full totes – the equivalent of nearly 8,000 large boxes!
We’re Not Done Yet!
