Harmony’s Fourth of July Celebration
The City of Harmony has its annual community celebration leading up to and through the 4th of July weekend. Just some of the things planned include live music, kids games, a pancake breakfast, a car show, food vendors, a grand parade, and fireworks! Plus, stay and enjoy all of the wonderful restaurants, bars, and shopping amenities our charming town has to offer! Harmony Enterprises has helped to support this annual event in many ways. We have partnered with First Southeast Bank to sponsor live concerts in Selvig Park and have had an annual entry in the parade.
Steve & Umbelina Cremer Named Grand Marshalls
This year, we are thrilled to announce that the Grand Marshalls for the Grand Parade are former CEO, Steve Cremer, and his wife, Umbelina Cremer, Executive Director of Harmony Kids Learning Center.
Steve and Umbelina have been an integral part of our community for decades. Not only have they helped to establish meaningful employment opportunities for local residents, they have served on countless boards for community organizations, including, but not limited to the Fillmore County Economic Development Board, the Southeastern Minnesota Economic Development Board (CEDA), the Harmony Economic Development Board, Harmony Community Foundation, Harmony Chamber of Commerce, First Homes Board, Mayo Clinic Bio Bank Advisory Board, and the Harmony Golf Club Board. They have also been active in supporting causes like Relay for Life, Fillmore Central music and drama departments, and have been active in local church education.
In 2018, they were recognized by the Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc. (RAEDI), Journey To Growth, and the 504 Corporation with an entrepreneur lifetime achievement award.
Their Core Purpose
Throughout their years of service, Steve and Umbelina have held fast to the Core Purpose of their companies and family legacy; Career, Community, Culture, and Company. Their business endeavors help to provide meaningful employment to a great number of families in the region, while providing solutions to larger problems like environmental management and daycare or housing shortages. They have been extremely generous with their contributions to the local community, understanding the value of sharing success with the greater region. Finally, they have created a positive atmosphere, both at the workplace, and among their family and friends.
Congratulations on this latest honor, Steve & Umbelina. We hope to see all of you at the Grand Parade at 3 PM on Thursday, July 4th!
