For the past twenty-four years, First Southeast Bank of Harmony has partnered with the Harmony Golf Club to host the Jackson Memorial Golf Classic. This fundraiser was created in memory of former FSEB employee, Robert Jackson.
This event is so much more than a golf tournament! The classic offers both golfers and non-golfers opportunities to support local organizations through the golf tournament, side games on the course, fun raffles, a steak dinner, a silent auction, and a live auction. According to the tournament director and President/CEO of First Southeast Bank, Chris Skaalen, “the proceeds from the event benefit a scholarship fund for local seniors as well as various other non-profits, including the Harmony Golf Club Capital Improvement Fund.”
The tournament typically raises in excess of $15,000 annually. This year, it is proud to offer three $1,500 scholarships to Fillmore Central High School or Mabel-Canton seniors in addition to their annual donations to the golf club and groups like the Harmony Area Community Foundation. To date, they have raised over $350,000 for the betterment of youth and the Harmony community!
Harmony Enterprises To Participate Again This Year

Since the tournament’s inception, Harmony Enterprises has been proud to participate in the annual tournament with employees playing golf as well as coming to the dinner and auction events later in the evening. For the past several years, we have been generously sponsored by our long time vendor partner, Van Meter. This year, three Harmony Employees and our Van Meter representative will play as a four person best shot team. This is the first year the classic has moved to a best shot format, making the game more accessible for all level of golfers.
How Can You Participate In The Harmony Jackson Memorial Golf Tournament?
This year’s 18 hole Harmony Jackson Memorial Golf Classic is Monday, June 10th at 11:00 AM. Registration is $100 per person and $400 per team. The field will be limited to just 27 teams to allow for smooth play. Teams will be flighted at the end of play into three flights and a percentage of entry fees will be used to pay out the first three places in each flight.

If you or your business would like to help support the Jackson Memorial Golf Classic, you can sponsor a team, sign up for the steak dinner, or become a sponsor.
There are five different sponsor levels between $1-$1000+, each with increasing benefits, including recognition in the program and complimentary entry fees.
You and your company can also donate items for the door prizes, hole prizes, silent, or live auctions. All donors of these items will be recognized in the program. The auction items are always top-notch, include a wide variety for all interests, and provide a fun way to bid up proceeds for the charity event.
