The Start of a Great Team
I first started calling on Harmony Enterprises in 1987. It started with a cold call at the beginning and has turned into great working partnership over the 25 years. Werner Electric and Harmony are a great team because the strengths of all individuals complement each other, and when coupled together, they form a working relationship and level of expertise that can conquer the most difficult design challenges, while producing unrivaled products utilizing the latest cutting edge technologies.
Working with all Harmony Technologies
We have worked with a variety of Harmony equipment including the SP20 SmartPack Automatic Trash Compactor, M60STD vertical baler, and the SSG2 horizontal baler. These products represent the most basic designs, the mid-range, and the largest and most advance technologies in the line of products that Harmony Enterprises produces.
“Kitting” Electrical Controls for Baler
Werner Electric does a “kitting process” and some assembly as a value added service for the electrical controls for many of the balers at Harmony Enterprises. With some of the kits, the products are actually run through a vision system to ensure proper products are selected and put in the correct location. This process allows Harmony to use less labor in producing and building their panels. The enclosures in the kits come with holes already pre-punched in them so Harmony does not need to spend labor punching them. They are ready to go right out of the kit to have conduit or devices installed.
Looking to the Future
There has been a good many instances of collaboration over the years on designs and technical assistance to further improve or define the balers Harmony sells all over the world. One example of these solutions leading to sustainable success is the custom horizontal baler that was designed for a multi-national bottling company. It’s been a great partnership and we’re excited about the future and where it’s going to take us.
