October 11, 2012 – Harmony Enterprises Inc. is celebrating our 50th Anniversary in business and recently had an Open House at their manufacturing facility in Harmony, Minnesota. The company locally known as HECO started in 1962, but did not get into the recycling and waste management industry until 1971, when they manufactured their first cardboard baler for a grocery store chain. Steven Cremer, President of Harmony Enterprises, is the third generation of Cremer’s to be involved in the company which currently employees 50-60 employees.
Stephen Sagen, our current Technical Sales Support Engineer at Harmony Enterprises, educates customers on baler operations. He explains, “There are always new challenges with helping customers. Each challenge helps our company grow and understand more about what customers are a looking for and gives us new direction to help the needs of our customers.”
Today, Harmony Enterprises has expanded to carry a full line of over forty models of vertical balers, automatic balers, and indoor and outdoor compacters to fit the demand of a variety of solid waste and recycling needs. The Smart Pack automatic trash compactor has been a popular choice for managing trash in quick service restaurants or busy lobbies.Recently, over 200 Smart Packs were installed in the Atlanta Airport.
