According to National Today, World Quality Day is celebrated every year around the world on the second Thursday of November. The day was created to “raise quality awareness and provide support to individuals and organizations for the achievement of economic prosperity and the adoption of high-quality standards.”

The first World Quality Day took place in London in 2008.

Businesses across the globe will participate in the annual event on Thursday, November 10, 2022, through seminars, webinars, and a variety of other activities.  This year’s World Quality Day 2022 focus is Quality conscience: Doing the right thing.

How You Can Celebrate World Quality Day

There are many things you and your business can do to observe World Quality Day. Here are just a few:

1. Create or update your company quality policy. This policy should include your vison and mission statement and how your company plans to achieve the expectation of improving your products and process to ensure both safety and satisfaction.
2. Define or revisit your company Core Values. These often align with employee quality and your overall desire for quality and satisfaction in your career, community, culture, and company.
