Front Range Maintenance, based out of Littleton, Colorado has been a distributor of Harmony compactors and balers since 1999. The owner, Skeeter Gosney, has been repairing balers and compactors since 1972, and then bought Front Range Maintenance with his wife Linda in 1998. They have a crew of five (including Skeeter’s brother, Ron, the Installation Manager) who service and install the products they sell. Although they sell products nationwide, their installation and service area includes the states of Colorado, northern New Mexico, western Kansas, western Nebraska, southwest South Dakota and Wyoming.
By primarily using word-of-mouth as their advertising, they stay extremely busy selling, installing and repairing Harmony balers and compactors, as well as equipment from other manufacturers. They sell recycling and waste management equipment to a variety of facilities, from mom-and-pop grocery stores to larger chains like Safeway, and Recycling Facilities. Front Range Maintenance’s focus is on providing their customers with reliable equipment, by selling products from brands they trust and by offering a Preventative Maintenance Plan.
Reliability was a key factor in Skeeter’s choice to start selling and servicing the Harmony line of recycling equipment. Since the beginning, Skeeter has been impressed with the quality and durability of the Harmony products. Skeeter explains, “The first thing we do before working with a new company is visit the factory. We knew from the start that Harmony makes good high quality equipment.”
When customers are ready to buy a new baler or compactor, there are many different types of products to meet their needs. Skeeter helps walk his customers through the process, “ If they need a heavy-duty balers for cans, the Harmony System Ten Sixty with the conveyor is usually a great choice. For the smaller store who wants to start recycling their cardboard (instead of paying the trash hauler to take it away) the M60STD baler usually meets those needs.”
An important service that Front Range Maintenance offers is Preventative Maintenance. The service technicians have a form that they fill out that looks at many different aspects of the equipment to ensure the baler safety and efficiency. Skeeter explains, “We look at everything from the electrical, motor, and even the structural welds and frame of the equipment. Safety and making sure that everything is up to OSHA code is also part of every Preventative Maintenance Inspection.”
When repairs and service are required, the crew at Front Range Maintenance knows that the Harmony balers and compactors have a solid reputation for top-notch workmanship. Skeeter explains, “The balers from Harmony are easy to use and are the highest quality in the industry. Our staff has no problem making repairs and troubleshooting when needed, because the equipment is simple to operate and repair.”
Skeeter and the crew at Front Range Maintenance do a fantastic job representing and servicing the Harmony line of balers and compactors in their area, and we are proud to have them as a local distributor of Harmony products. They help reinforce the fact that Harmony provides reliable maintenance on reliable balers and compactors.
