HM-60 Horizontal Baler Customer Success Story
Harmony Enterprises was thrilled with their Clarksville, TN plant reached out asking us to partner with them in their sustainability efforts with supplying an HM-60 Horizontal Baler to handle their cardboard waste. This was a crucial need for them as their old baler wore out and needed to be replaced.
With all of the OCC generated through their parts and shipping processes, their plant manager, Jackson Jones was looking for a custom project in which they could engineer their own drive on deck so that their forklift would have ample room to tip a tote into the baler hopper. Their baler would need to be automatic in nature, with sheer bar technology to compact and bale material without jamming or the need to manually cycle the baler. They also wanted a custom color.
Harmony employed its proven process, with our Director of Sales, Nick Roberts providing a free site review at the Clarksville facility. The two companies worked together to ensure a seamless integration of both the closed end baler and the drive on deck.
Once installed by our professional Harmony Factory Technicians, Mr. Roberts returned to the location to provide onsite training of staff, utilizing product on hand to ensure their complete satisfaction with the baling process.
This collaboration led to another great HM-60 horizontal baler customer success story!
The resulting solution was ideal for Trane, providing them with a larger opening and ease of operation, allowing them to make 30″ H x 60″ L x up to 51″ W bales of OCC, weighing an average of 1300-1500 lbs.!
Their improved bale size, weight, and 27-point chassis shear blade for continuous feeding provides them with trouble free recycling of the valuable operational waste.
