Governor Dayton Commends Harmony
Harmony Enterprises sells their balers and packers to many federal, state, and local government entities, including kitchen operations and cafeterias, public offices and schools, and more. SInce 2009, they have been a client of Minnestoa PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center), which assists Minnesota businesses in securing government contracts. Harmony has been successful utilizing the PTAC Bid-Matching service and has been awarded over forty government bids for their recycling and waste management equipment. They were recently awarded a Certificate of Commendation from Governor Dayton for their hard work in securing government contracts in 2011.
John Kilian, Southeast MN PTAC Area Manager, has helped Harmony Enterprises by being a knowledge resource and assisting them in completing their CCR (Central Contract Registration). Kilian said, “Harmony Enterprises has been extremely successful with the PTAC Bid-Matching program in identifying current opportunities in the government marketplace. This has allowed them a chance to bid and win government contracts.”
Harmony balers and compactors are being used in many common locations such as city and county recycling centers across the country. But recycling and waste equipment is also used in other governmental sectors that the general public may not be aware of. For instance, many Department of Defense Commissaries, Prisons and Correctional Institutions, Tribal Councils, and VA Centers use Harmony Enterprise products, just to name a few.
Harmony Enterprises is proud to have customers worldwide and from so many diverse industries, in government and beyond. Thank you to all of our customers!
