What can be Recycled? Here is a list of 200+ Recyclables
Most people already understand the importance that recycling has on the environment. The adoption of recycling bins in communities throughout the country (and the world) has helped prevent countless tons of recyclable materials from being thrown into landfills. Businesses, schools, and other organizations are also taking control of their own recycling by investing in a baler to recycle materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminum, and other recyclables that can be baled.
However, not everybody knows what is recyclable and what isn’t. Moreover, not every recyclable item can be recycled in the regular bins that are picked up from your home every week.
This gap in recycling knowledge leads to an immense amount of unnecessary waste. Not only are some recycling materials unknowingly thrown into the garbage, but many materials which must follow specific guidelines are put into the wrong recycling bin, ultimately leading to them being thrown away. Here are some of the common items that people forget are recyclable!
For example, did you know that you actually can recycle those “un-recyclable” packing peanuts? The key is to bring them to a local UPS or FedEx store, not to throw them into your curbside recycling bin!
