Celebrating our 50th Anniversary All Summer Long!
It is safe to say, that in 1962 when Harmony Enterprises started, that our founders did not envision balers and trash compactors fifty years later. Today in 2012, we have diversified quite a bit, moving from products for the ice fishing and camping industry to equipment for recycling and waste management.
But we are proud of how far we come, as many of our employees so eloquently described recently. And this summer, we are proud to celebrate 50 years of developing innovative products that are making a difference through being part of the Fourth of July Parade, and Employee Golf Outing and Picnic, and an Open House!
Fourth of July Parade
On the Fourth of July, our town of Harmony, MN helped us celebrate in our town parade. The Mollie Busta polka band played music in a float that was full of banners thanking the dedicated employees of Harmony Enterprises who have been such a huge part of creating innovative products over the past 50 years.
Employee Golf Outing and Picnic
Last week, the staff of Harmony Enterprises celebrated with golf and a company picnic. The plant closed early, and all the staff and spouses/significant others met at the golf course at 2:45. A “Best Ball” tournament had prizes for longest putt, shortest drive, closest playable ball to the target, and more…. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious barbeque chicken dinner and had some raffle prizes from some of our vendors! Later we stayed for social hour and played some friendly games of bean bags outside. Harmony Enterprise’s own Andy Ferrie even designed handmade bean bag boards for Harmony which our staff used that evening. We had a wonderful day and would like to say thank you to Steve and Connie Lindstrom and staff for the wonderful meal and always providing a great time at the Harmony Golf Club.

Open House Coming Up
On August 29th, 2012 we are celebrating 50 years in business with an Open House! The open house will be from 3-6pm at our plant at 704 Main Ave. N. in Harmony, MN. We invite you to join us for plant tours, a picnic style lunch, door prizes, and more!
