Our compactor platens (rams) are just one example of the difference in quality of our equipment when compared to that of the competition. Some competitors take shortcuts with parts like these that are not visible to their customers. The welds are suspect, the metal shows signs of excessive heat and burring, and it is not painted. This lack of quality can lead to structural issues and rapid rusting. Harmony takes the additional time necessary to lay down quality welds, clean and de-bur the metal, and paint our compactor rams with professional DTM paint. This means that even on parts you can’t see, you are getting quality manufactured goods that will stand the test of time.
