EOS Traction At Harmony
Harmony Enterprises takes great pride in sharing our company’s story, vision, and shared successes with our audience. We go to great lengths to improve our products, processes, and people to benefit all of our interested parties, including our customers.
Its not everyday that we receive a guest blog post that describes our story and hard work toward constant improvement so succinctly in one post. Joe Paulsen, an EOS Implementer with Pinnacle Business Solutions did just that. He reached out to us as one of his clients to share his thoughts on the EOS program and the benefits it has had for Harmony Enterprises.
Joe and his team have been instrumental in laying the solid foundation for EOS in our entire company. They have been professional, thorough, and provided us with tools needed to create our own success. We hope you enjoy Joe’s unique perspective and are able to use some of his thoughts as motivation for your own growth in 2019!
“As one of my first EOS clients, the leadership team at Harmony Enterprises will always have a special place in my heart. Their EOS journey started on February 6, 2017 where I introduced Steve Cremer, Ramon Hernandez, Brent Christiansen, Lana Soppa and Lane Powell to the Entrepreneurial Operating System. In that meeting it was clear that the team was focused on taking care of their customers, employees and their community.
Starting in May we began implementing EOS and the team quickly solidified their Accountability Chart which brought about significant changes to the organizational structure of their business. These types of changes are always difficult and can be scary, but the team remained committed to the system and their decisions.
Next, we established their Vision by discovering their Core Values (Committed, Courage to Make a Difference, Passionate, Innovative, Enhancing Our Shared Experience) and their Core Focus (Career. Community. Culture – Solutions for waste handling and recycling). At this point, it was time for the team to decide and commit to where they wanted to take the company. They clearly wanted to see it grow and that came out with their 60% growth Core Target goal by 2017. The team was clearly starting to gain Traction!
Since that point, the leadership team and now the entire organization, has been fully committed to their vision, and there is little doubt that they will hit their Core Target while remaining true to their Core Values and Core Focus. After their second EOS Annual planning session in December, they have completed 193 Rocks (significant goals or objectives) and I can see that their leadership team and business is becoming a well-oiled machine…
My greatest joy is hearing the sense of accomplishment from leadership teams as they go through this amazing process. The Harmony leadership team has done all of the hard work and they have validated Collin Powell’s quote, ‘There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.’
Keep up the great work, Steve, Ramon, Lane, Lana, Nick, Lindsey, Chris, Isaac, and Thibaut!”
