What a year it has been! 2017 has been an extremely productive and prosperous year for Harmony Enterprises, Harmony Equipment Rental, Harmony Europe, and Harmony Kids Learning Center. We are proud of all that we have accomplished and recognize that none of it would be possible without the support of our employees, customers, vendors, technicians, logistics partners, and community members.

The Year In Review – 2017
New Website Launched In January
In January of this year, Harmony launched its new www.harmony1.com website. This fresh new design includes updated product information and photos, easier navigation, embedded videos, and is mobile responsive. One of the most valuable tools a customer can use is the baler and compactor product search filter found by clicking on the Products tab in the site map. This user friendly filter helps you find the right solution for any of your waste handling and recycling needs.
Our website traffic is up 27% from 2016, reaching over 100,000 annual site visitors for the first time in our nearly 50 year history. We invite you to check out the site for yourself and Experience Harmony in a whole new way!
Harmony Exhibits At Two Trade Shows
2017 marked Harmony’s return as an exhibitor at two new trade shows. The National Park Service Mini Trade Fair took place on April 25th in Denver, Colorado. Harmony was able to showcase how solar options are bright for waste and recycling in our National Parks. Our SunPak solar options provide a sustainable method for waste compaction in remote areas.
In September, Harmony was proud to display its products and services at the ISSA North American INTERCLEAN show in Las Vegas. Our powerful and efficient 60″ balers, Insite Wireless Monitoring, and 450SS Stainless Steel Indoor Power Packer stole the show tailored to these cleaning professionals. Harmony’s participation proved that with effective pre-show marketing and target audience tracking during the event, manufacturers can benefit from trade shows, too!
New Quarterly Spotlights Highlight Products
Starting in May, Harmony unveiled its new Quarterly Product Spotlight that features a specific Harmony product or service. These spotlights incorporate product information, customer success stories, press releases, and even discounted prices on Harmony’s quality balers and compactors!
In 2017, we were proud to feature our Compactyre Indoor/Outdoor Tire Compactor, our world-renowned SmartPack Automatic Compactor, and our newly remodeled BCB2003 ExtractPack Vertical Baler.
Like-new demo units of the Compactyre have now been reduced to an amazingly low 75% off their already low retail price!
Interest in all three of these revolutionary compactors and balers has soared during 2017! We look forward to bringing more of these unique product features to you in the New Year!
Process Changes Lead To Growth
Harmony Enterprises understands that growth comes only through positive process change, adaptation to the marketplace, listening to customers, nurturing business relationships, and product innovation.
Growth within our own business is important to us as well, which is why in 2017, Harmony implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System on a company-wide basis. EOS has helped Harmony map out the road to success for the future, citing our people, processes, accountability, and best practices on how to achieve our goal. Harmony also prides itself on being nominated for the Minnesota Business Ethics Award and named a Rockwell Automation OEM Partner in 2017. By taking the initiative to continually improve our own processes through programs like EOS and our recent ISO Surveillance Audit, Harmony Enterprises is able to pass along benefits to both employees and customers alike.
Our People Make The Difference
At Harmony Enterprises, we value Career, Community, and Culture above all else. Our employees are committed, passionate, innovative, courageous, and enhance each other’s shared experience in a positive and meaningful way. This year, we posted many stories about things our people are doing in the Blog section of our website as well as on our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram Accounts. Many of these stories include how our wonderful people give back to our greater community. Harmony employees taught Junior Achievement classes in Woodbury, MN, led a woodwind and brass instrument music unit at Harmony Kids Learning Center, created and donated a planter to the same child care facility, found creative ways to recycle our own manufacturing paint, donated valuable manufacturing equipment to other local businesses, and so much more!
